The Kentucky Counseling Center Health Program helps people with mental illnesses by providing affordable, individualized treatment. The program includes counseling, therapy, psychiatric care, and other services to help patients improve their lives.

With more than 130 mental health professionals, Kentucky Counseling Center is one of the largest behavioral healthcare providers in the state. Its administrative offices are located on Poplar Level Road in Louisville. It also has locations in Lexington, Richmond, Frankfort, and Covington.

The Kentucky Counseling Center Health Program operates a statewide mental health and substance abuse facility network, including 12 clinics. The company aims to grow and expand its business by opening additional facilities and broadening its telehealth offerings, CEO Matt Grammer said.

Two new Louisville locations have been opened. The first is located in the Medical Arts Building, 1169 Eastern Parkway. The other is at 9702 Stonestreet Road.

Each office has been renovated based on the needs of its clients. Its goal is to make sure the space is comfortable for patients, CEO Matt Grammer said.

Both locations are leased in traditional medical office complexes, but the company will rent new spaces in Lexington and Richmond soon. The new rooms will include larger clinical areas and a kiosk where clients can sign in, so no office manager or front desk is required.

Mental health professionals will staff the new offices. The company plans to add 45 more mental health workers by the end of the year, Grammer told Business Insider.

While it still uses a lot of telehealth, the Kentucky Counseling Center plans to offer most of its services in person. The company has a team of 15 mental health professionals working in its Louisville and Richmond offices, but it will have to add more employees in the coming months.

In-person appointments are usually 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the issue. The counselor will discuss your struggles and help you figure out how to work through them.

Some students may need more than a few sessions to explore their issues and get them under control. They might want to keep seeing the same counselor, or they might want to work with another therapist on the staff.
